Boys and Girls
Boys and girls are treated differently as they grow
up. In fact, I was treated the way different from my brothers. I love to play
outside with my brothers when I was a child. When we were wounded, my parents
worried about me even if it was a mere scratch. However, they rather laughed
than worried about my brothers. Moreover, when we were crying because of fight,
my dad told them not to cry but he didn’t say anything to me. My mam say to me
help her with cooking or cleaning but she doesn’t say that to my brothers. I think
my parents want my brothers to grow up powerfully and want me to grow up lady
likely.

Very interesting Arisa! Do you think it would have been different if your parents had treated you and your brothers equally, or the same?
