I’d like to go this tour because I want to see wild animals especially tiger!! Tiger is one of my favorite animals. If I join it, I can see a lot of rare animals too. I want to see animals at the place except zoo. I chose this tour because it allows using everything belongs to only local. I can help to protect not only wild animals but also local people. I will be able to learn life of local. I think it can be very valuable experience for me to spend time at jungle.

ＣＡＮＡＤＡ ＤＡＹ

I couldn't celebrate for Canada day in Canada because I was in Seattle.

I celebrated for Canada day by myself from USA.
I went to Seattle on last long vacation. I went shopping, sightseeing and watched a baseball game of Seattle Mariners vs. Boston Redsocks. It was so exciting. I could see some famous Japanese players by very closely. My seat was good.  I also got some players autograph.  It was the most exciting event in my trip of Seattle.
I also went to the first store of Starbucks. It was totally different from common stores. I was surprised it. The logo mark was brown and picture was different. I didn't know that before I went there.
There is a lot of delicious food in Seattle. All of food I ate there was fresh and delicious. I love cheese cake factory. I could go to cheese cake factory to eat dinner. I ate salmon and shrimp and a big cheese cake. It was so delicious. It made me really happy. If you go USA, you should eat lunch or dinner there. I highly recommend it.I had a great time in Seattle.

My Summer Vacation’s Plan

My Summer Vacation’s Plan

I will take summer vacation after this semester. My next semester at my university in Japan will start in end of September. I will enjoy my summer vacation. I’m planning some travel during it. As first, I’m going to around eastern part of Canada and New York and Korea before go back to Japan. Two days later I’ve arrived in Japan, I will go to Nagoya to see the biggest hip-hop music festival in Japan. In September, I will go to Philippines to celebrate my birthday and to enjoy marine sports. I was going to go to Cebu islands but I changed my plan because I heard Bohol islands or borakai islands are better than Cebu from guys in my RW class.  Thanks guys for useful information!! Of course, I will find a new part time job to earn their cost and I’ll work hard. Those’re my summer plan. I’m really looking forward to do them. I can’t waiting for coming summer vacation!!

Equality

I think men and women are treated equality in almost situations in Japan but I think sometimes they aren't treated equality. Long time ago, women didn't have the right to vote but now Everybody's  given the right to vote, smoking and drinking alcohole when people become 20 years old.  We're given all right equality in law but they're didn't obey  everything in real world. For example, men can take a vocation for childcare in law,  but men can't do as easy as women. Most of people think women should do housework  or take care of children. Actually, most of case women do that. Single mothers receive warm treatment, however single fathers can't do as well. Unlike women, men can promote high positions in bussiness or goverment easier than women. I think those problems are getting better than before but still have some problems.

Boys and Girls

Boys and girls are treated differently as they grow up. In fact, I was treated the way different from my brothers. I love to play outside with my brothers when I was a child. When we were wounded, my parents worried about me even if it was a mere scratch. However, they rather laughed than worried about my brothers. Moreover, when we were crying because of fight, my dad told them not to cry but he didn’t say anything to me. My mam say to me help her with cooking or cleaning but she doesn’t say that to my brothers. I think my parents want my brothers to grow up powerfully and want me to grow up lady likely.

My Mom

I want to talk about my mom. I admire her and I want to be like her. She has worked as a nurse since she graduated from her school. When I was a child, I didn’t like her job. She is always busy and she doesn’t have enough time to talk with me or play with me. She works even weekend or holiday. I used to want her to stay home because I felt loneliness. This is why I didn’t like her job. However, I’m proud of her now because my mind is changed. Many people don’t like their job and always complain about it but she likes her job and she is proud of her job. She has never complained about her job. She is professional. My dream is to be a career woman.　One day, I found my mom style is more close to my ideals. I don’t want to be a nurse but I want to be a career woman like her. I’ve admired her since then. I think she is a cool and awesome lady.

Obsession

I think that having an obsession isn’t good or bad. It depends on people because it sometimes will be good for people, but it sometimes will be bad for people. For example, if someone succeeded on business or study or something by having an obsession, it was said good for the person. That is why it makes his/her life happier and better. However, if person failed to achieve his/her goal or didn’t approach goal, obsessions cause extreme stress for person. It makes his/her life worse and worse. I think it’s important for person to take advantage of obsessions.

Three Cups of Tea

I’d like to read “Three Cups of Tea” because I like to read a non-fiction story. It was based on the author’s real experiences. I’m very interested in his story. I want to know how he was able to change the world and what he experienced.  I think that it teach me a lot of things. Actually I like reading books but I have never read a book in English. This time is my first challenge to try to read a book in English. I think it is very good chance for me. I want to enjoy reading a book and also I want to learn something from book. This is why I want to read “Three Cups of Tea”.

I’d like to tell you to my fraud experience. I went to Taiwan with my friend last summer. We wanted to go to the famous place. When we were walking around to find the bus stop, we were spoken by a man. He was a taxi driver. He said if you want to go there, you could go by taxi cheaper than bus. We decided to go there by taxi because we believed him. He said we would arrive soon but it took about 1 hour and we paid $50. When we were looking around the place, we met some Japanese and we told them that. They taught us it was fraud!! Oh my got… They taught us how to get the bus. We could get back only $8!! It took just 15min. The taxi driver deceived us. Be careful.

I was born in Nara Japan, I grew up there. I am 20 years old. I came to Calgary about 1month ago. I am a Kansai University student in Japan and my major is Economics but I am studying English at U of C now. I will go back to Japan when this spring program finished, so I just stay here 3 months. I want to enjoy my life in Calgary with you.
My hobbies are listening to music and traveling anywhere. I love listening to music especially hip-hop music! My favorite musician is Mr.Capone-E and The Game! I am going to the biggest hip-hop music festival in Japan in August. I can see The Game! I am really looking forward to see him. Anyway, if you know a good song, please tell me. I love to travel too. When I finished this program, I am going to Torront, NY and Korea! I am looking forward to visit those places. If you have been there, please tell me some information.
